Can I travel from Australia to United Kingdom?

Anyone from Australia can travel into the UK so long as they haven't been to or through a country on the declared banned list (also known as the "red list") in the past 10 days, and does the following:

  • Before you arrive you must take a COVID-19 test 3 days before your departure and present a negative result.
  • When you arrive in the UK you must still go into quarantine for 10 days. This can be at a residence of your choosing, unless you've been to a country on the declared banned list in which case you'll be sent to a managed quarantine hotel. This will be at your own expense.
  • Furthermore, you'll have to take two COVID-19 tests after you arrive in the UK. These must be organised by yourself prior to arrival and are to be taken on days 2 and 8 of your stay.

The only other exception for travel from Australia is if you are British, Irish or have the right to live in the UK.
