Tranya is a relatively new name when it comes to headphones, but the company already offers several different pairs of wireless earbuds. Tranya's latest headphones, the T10 wireless earbuds, launched in Australia earlier this year, improving on previous designs with an upgraded driver and improved battery life.
The Tranya T10 earbuds are small and lightweight with removable silicone ear tips. They come with three different sized ear tips and I found the smallest option to be the perfect fit.
Both earbuds hold touch controls that allow you to adjust volume settings, play and pause music and skip tracks. Each earbud holds a single button. The left earbud can be pressed once to play or pause the music, twice to lower the volume, and three times to play the previous track. On the right earbud, press once and hold to play or pause the track, press twice to raise the volume and press three times to skip the track. You can press either earbud once to answer a call and press and hold either earbud to end or reject a call.
They have 12mm graphene drivers for better sound and bass than previous Tranya true wireless earbuds.
They're rated as being IPX7, which means they are waterproof and sweatproof. According to Tranya, you can wear them swimming as long as you don't dive underwater. However, I wasn't able to test this.
The case is oval-shaped and small enough to fit in just about any pocket. It's magnetic so the earbuds pop back in easily without you having to fiddle around to get them into the right spot. The case is also sealed for weatherproofing.
Tranya's T10 earbuds are easy to set up. They synced immediately with my phone without requiring any additional apps for set-up. The earbuds automatically reconnect as soon as they're removed from the case.
Each earbud works independently so you can use both earbuds at once or one at a time.
They have built-in noise reduction technology, but they don't offer noise cancellation. I found them to be perfect for listening to music and podcasts while running errands since they don't block out too much ambient noise and the case is small and lightweight enough to carry just about anywhere.
They're comfortable to wear and I didn't have any issues with either earbud falling out when I moved around.
The T10 earbuds sound better than I expected, but not exceptional. The bass is deep and rich for the size of the earbuds. However, higher pitches can sound a bit tinny.
When making phone calls, I could clearly hear the person on the other end, but those I spoke to said they could hear a bit of background noise on my end.
Tranya doesn't have an app, which means you can't customise the audio settings on the earbuds.
The Tranya T10 earbuds offer 8 hours of listening on a single charge. The charging case offers four charges for a total of 32 hours of playtime. The case has four indicator lights that show you how much battery life is remaining.
The case charges using an included USB-C cable and supports wireless charging using a wireless charging pad.
If you run out of charge on the go, a quick 10-minute charge gives you an hour of listening time.
The Tranya T10 earbuds have a lot going for them. They're small and comfortable with touch controls and a waterproof design. They also offer wireless charging, which isn't widely available on earbuds in this price range.
However, there are a lot of true wireless earbuds in this price range and while the T10s are solid, they don't stand out from the competition.
The headphones are also available through the Tranya website.
