Hike, bike and explore Toronto with flights under $1,200 from all across Australia.

Toronto, located on Lake Ontario, is known as one of the most multicultural cities in the world and is the jumping off point for Niagara Falls, one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World.

With prices under $1,200 return, you’ll have no excuse not to book a seat to see it all for yourself.

I Want That Flight has found some cheap fares to Toronto with the lowest price of $1,063. These flights leave Sydney with China Southern on dates between 12 May and 12 June.

Other notable fares to Toronto include from Perth for $1,066 on Etihad and Virgin Australia from 24 April to 23 August, from Brisbane for $1,100 with China Southern from 27 March to 17 April and from Adelaide with Cathay Pacific from 25 May to 25 June.

These fares are not part of any particular promotion and are available until sold out.

To book: Flights are for very select travel dates so you'll need to get in quick if you're interested. Head to I Want That Flight for full details and to grab your seat.

How good are these fares?

The best time to travel would be for the later dates in June and August so you can take advantage of the warmer and longer days, perfect for getting outdoors and seeing everything Toronto has to offer.

If you still want to see some snow you might be lucky if you pick up some dates in March. Niagara Falls has the best weather conditions from mid-May so some of these dates will be great if you want to tick them off your bucket list.

The cheapest we've seen to Toronto is for $800 return but those flights were for less enviable dates and with longer stopovers. Full price fares are usually closer to $2,000 and sale prices are usually around $1,200 so we reckon this is still a good deal.
