Tigerair slashes flights by up to 40% for Valentine’s Day
Love is in the air.
You may have noticed flowers being delivered to the office today. Perhaps you heard someone ask what they're doing tomorrow night?
If you haven't already cottoned on, tomorrow is Valentine's Day. And if you haven't bought that special someone a present, Tigerair has saved the day slashing its fares by up to 40% off.
And yes, even if you don't celebrate you can still snap up these deals.
Flights start from $41 each way, which isn't too shabby considering you can travel from April to September. The winter school holidays are excluded though the Queen's Birthday long weekend is not. Which means you can have that long weekend break for a fraction of the price.

How good is this Tigerair sale?
- Price: Good. 40% off the RRP sounds like a bargain but flights only go as low a $41 each way. This is good but we've seen Tigerair shift the numbers down to $39.95 over the last couple of months so we know it can go that much cheaper.
- Airline: OK. Tigerair is a budget carrier and you'll have to pack light for these fares as they only cover you for 7kg of checked luggage. Anything more and you'll have to pay a fee. For an idea of what to expect, check out our reviews.
- Travel time: Great. All flights are direct.
- Weather: Good. Whether you'd prefer to take advantage of the cooler weather in autumn, escape the winter for a tropical escape or smell those spring flowers, this sale has dates that fit the bill.
