iPhone 6S 16GB $929 at DWI ($158 cheaper than Apple)
Apple didn’t announce new iPhone hardware at WWDC 2016, which wasn’t surprising given it’s a developer conference, instead concentrating on the new features to be found in iOS 10. If you’re keen to get on the iOS 10 bandwagon, it would make sense to buy as current an iPhone as you can manage to make the most of its new features. DWI’s selling the 16GB iPhone 6s for $929, $158 less than Apple’s selling price.

S7 Edge $909.00 at DWI ($349.05 cheaper than Samsung)
Samsung has just launched Samsung Pay in Australia through Citibank and American Express but to take advantage of it, you’ll need a compatible Samsung device. The Galaxy S7 Edge is the current pinnacle of Samsung’s Android offerings, and currently our favourite handset of 2016, but it’s not an inexpensive offering when purchased outright. DWI’s current deal on the S7 Edge cuts an impressive $349.05 off the asking price.

Google Nexus 5X $359
Google is still playing coy with the official naming convention for the next iteration of Android, with anyone guess as to what Android N will be. Nutella? Nutmeat? Nigel? Nobody knows. At $359 via Kogan, the Nexus 5X is the cheapest way to get on the next generation Android bandwagon as soon as it ships.
