Halo 5: Guardians

Halo is one the biggest franchises on the Xbox One. It completely changed the way shooters were played on console. With the departure of franchise originators, Bungie, 343 industries took the reins and have been developing Halo games for several years.

Halo 5 is the first canonical release on the Xbox One console and features a Spartan soldier named Locke, who is hunting a rogue Master Chief.

Halo 5: Guardians also has the classic Halo multiplayer with a few new additions and tweaks.

After Assassins Creed, you may have grown tired with stabbing people in the neck in elaborate ways. I get that. So why not try stabbing people in the neck while in first person in a steampunk inspired world?

If this sounds right up your disturbed alley then Dishonoured is the perfect game for you. The game came out in 2012 but the re-release, Dishonoured Definitive Edition, has come out on current generation consoles.

EB games is going through its perpetual sale season and is currently selling the Definitive Edition for $19.98. That is 50% cheaper than the represented retail price.

Sick of Overwatch? That shouldn't be possible, but if you're in the mood for a similar, highly colourful shooter to expand your gaming collection, consider Battleborn.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

With the release of Uncharted 4, now is the perfect time to go back and experience the story of Nathan Drake on brand new hardware. All you need now is a brown fedora.

Steam summer picnic sale

The PC master race has so many reasons to be smug. Better graphics, free mods, Gabe Newell, cheaper games and of course, Steam Sales.

Nothing empties a gamer's bank account quite like a good old fashioned Steam sale. Who doesn’t like buying games they will never play for under $10.00? Just make sure you give your bank card to a trusted friend. Remember, you still need to pay rent.

With discounts such as 50 – 85% off The Witcher franchise, and 40% off Rainbow Six Siege, it’s not wonder these sales are as loved as they are feared.

Sonic Humble Bundle

Running to the right defined a console generation. Running faster to the right faster than the competition is what made Sonic stand out.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog, Sega has released a Humble Bundle with most of the good Sonic games alongside some of the lesser quality later-era Sonic titles.

Depending on the price you pay, there's up to $167.00 worth of value in this bundle, but you can pick up just part of it with your own choice of the price you'd like to pay.
