Get a serious discount on the latest premium phones in our weekly roundup.

Each week, we check the prices you'll pay for a variety of premium handsets to help you get the most bang for your buck when buying a new phone. Buying outright isn't for everyone, but if you're already in the market for a new phone, it makes sense to spend as little as possible.

This week, Apple's iPhone 8 Plus gets the bargain treatment, as does Samsung's still very popular Samsung Galaxy S8+. Joining it on the Android side of the fence is Huawei's tip-top P10 Plus. With the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro releases imminent, we wanted to see if there were bargains available on Huawei's mid-year premium flagship. Prices are as per each vendor's web site on 31/10/17 and may change without notice.

Samsung Galaxy S8+

Samsung holds a dear place in Australian Android fan's hearts, with more searches for Samsung phone deals here at finder than any other Android brand, and resultant device sales that dwarf much of the rest of the Android field.

While the Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung's premium device du jour, it shares much of its internal architecture with the slightly older but still highly worthy Samsung Galaxy S8+. That slight age difference (and we're only talking three months here) means that you can save big on the retail price of a handset.
