This week’s bargain phones: iPhone X, Samsung S9+, Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact

Alex Kidman 24 July 2018 NEWS

Save big on the best premium handsets around with our round-up of the best weekly deals on smartphones from Apple, Samsung and Sony.

Each week, we check online retailer prices to find the best prices on a range of popular premium handsets, in order to make it easy for you to save when buying your next handset outright. Buying a phone outright gives you supreme flexibility to switch carriers and save serious money on your phone plan, so it makes sense to try to save on the handset as well.

We've selected the cheapest version of each phone available with each online store. Many online vendors do charge more for more in-demand colours, or less for less popular hues. If we've listed a colour next to a model, it's because that specific colour is usually on sale.

Prices are as advertised on each vendor's website on 24 July 2018. Availability and pricing are subject to change without notice.

iPhone X 64GB

Apple's iPhone X is still phenomenally popular, even as we get closer to the reveal of Apple's crop of 2018 iPhone models, most of which are expected to follow the iPhone X's design cues.

As always, it's tough to find a really great bargain on any Apple phone, as they tend to retain value over time much longer than their Android counterparts. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't look.
