This week’s bargain phones: iPhone 8, Samsung S9, Google Pixel 2

Alex Kidman 17 July 2018 NEWS

If you're looking to buy a phone outright and save, our round-up of the best deals on premium phones from Apple, Samsung and Google should be your first stop.

Every week, we scour the web to find the best deals on the most popular premium phones available in Australia. Premium phones attract premium prices, so it makes a lot of sense to shop around.

To help you find the best bargain, we've chosen the cheapest version of each phone available with each online store. Some online vendors do charge more for more in-demand colours, or less for less popular hues. If we've listed a colour next to a model, it's because that specific colour is usually on sale.

Prices are as advertised on each vendor's website on 17 July 2018. Availability and pricing are subject to change without notice.

iPhone 8 64GB

The rumours around Apple's crop of 2018 iPhones point to the existence of three phones, with the smallest set to effectively replace the iPhone SE and iPhone 8 all at once. That doesn't mean that iPhone 8 bargains are particularly spread far and wide, but then bargains in the Apple space are often small. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't look.

Want to know more about the iPhone 8? We've gathered up everything you need to know about the iPhone 8, including contract plans here.

The smallest of Samsung's 2018 Galaxy family is the Galaxy S9, and it's the model we've most frequently seen bargain prices on. That's a pressure that will only intensify as the Galaxy Note 9 gets ready to make its stage debut on 9 August 2018.
