This suitcase allows you to pack 47% more
This new luggage collection allows you to customise your case size.
The new Spectra 2.0 from Victorinox is taking hard-case luggage to the next level with its expansion system. The whopping 11cm (4.3in) capacity increase that the product allows means that travellers can adjust their case size as required. This innovative design is ideal for those wanting to do a lot of shopping on holiday – there's no need to buy another case to travel home with.
The design, the makers of the original Swiss army knife, has won a Red Dot Design Award as one of the best achievements in international product design for 2016. Other features include water-resistance, stretch zippers for extra flexibility, rubber bumpers and dual-caster wheels.
We measured whether the unexpanded option of the Spectra 2.0 Medium case is small enough to be classed as cabin luggage, but for most airlines it would still be a little too large. The unexpanded measurements are 30cm x 49cm x 69cm. There is an expandable carry-on option, which would give you flexibility to adjust the size depending on your airline's carry-on luggage restrictions.
The Spectra 2.0 Medium is currently available through Amazon (and you can search here for Amazon coupon codes for extra discounts).
