The beauty of Mount Buller can be seen from the village and the mountains. You can choose to enjoy the views from your seat on the scenic chairlift, from your saddle while riding, or boarding down the slopes.

Mount Buller and Mount Stirling remain open to all guests who have pre-booked. Residents from the Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire are not permitted to visit at this time.
No trip to Mount Buller is complete without hitting the slopes. The hill has runs for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and boarders.
The best beginner run is Bourke Street that overlooks Mount Buller Village. You can also try Terrain Park, Rail Park and Half Pipe.
Lessons are available for all levels, and night skiing/boarding is available on weekends. Full Day Mount Buller Snow Trip with Entry are also popular.
Tobogganing is available for the family at two spots in the village.
One is beside the car park next to Celia’s Kiosk and the other is next to Alpine Central in the Village.
Toboggans can be rented from most of the rental shops on the mountain.
Twilight sessions under lights are offered at the Village Snow Play Park in July and August on the weekends.
Sit back and relax as Siberian huskies pull you across the snow.
This incredible experience is a once-in-a-lifetime photo op and you can choose to sit back and enjoy the ride or try guiding the dogs yourself.
Even if you’re not a skier or boarder you can still enjoy views of the mountain.
The Northside Express chairlift departs from the car park and will take you to Spurs Lookout.
A return trip is $19 and can be enjoyed both in winter and summer.
Trails for all level of mountain biker are available at Mount Buller.
Downhill courses, uphill road challenges and cross-country trails offer a mix of terrain and alpine views.
The trails are easy to find following the detailed maps. The Australian Alpine Epic Trail winds across a number of the favourite routes to create a 40km high-endurance challenge for intermediate and advanced riders.
If adventurous activities aren’t for you, or you just need a break from the slopes, an alpine spa retreat is an excellent option.
Spa packages include massages and hot pools.
Walking and hiking trails are available year-round and provide spectacular views of Mount Buller and the neighbouring Mount Stirling.
The Mount Buller Walks app provides audio tours that explain the flora, fauna and history of the village.
Complimentary trail maps are found at Alpine Central, with guided and self-guided tours available.
Horse riding is only available at Mount Stirling, where you can access beautiful trails.
Explore the countryside on horseback with guided tours that are suitable for any skill level or age.
Tours can range from one-day outings to overnight trips that will take you across mountain ridges and open valleys.
