This is the best sale on right now. Shop now before your friends do.

This morning we found out that THE ICONIC is running its rare and oh-so-amazing 40% off exclusives sale.

If you follow sales anything like us, you'll know that 40% is not something you ignore. It's a discount percentage of epic proportions that can save you hundreds on a new winter wardrobe.

The sale applies to THE ICONIC's "exclusives", meaning the store's house labels and a few other labels that aren't stocked anywhere else in Australia. The brands include Atmos&Here, Spurr, Dorothy Perkins, Lost Ink, Freaky Nation and M.N.G.

At this stage, the sale only applies to women's items but the men's sale usually follows a week later - keep your eye peeled, boys!

Even if you are more a brand and designer lover, this sale is still worth looking at. THE ICONIC brand Atmos&Here is surprisingly good quality with many of its jumpers made from 50% or more wool and many of the shoes and boots made from real leather. Not bad for a brand with a price point rarely over $100. And when you factor in the 40%, you'd be silly not to have a little look around.

Click through here to see more details about the sale or scroll down to see our top pics from the sale. Offer ends Monday 5 June.
