Always on the cusp of a new sale, Australia's budget airline Tigerair has unveiled its latest domestic dazzler with flights available for as low as $49 each way.

Sure, it's nothing compared to previous sales that have dropped fares down to a dizzingly low $24 price point, but for warm end-of-winter and heat-of-summer dates, they'll make you excited to see the sunshine again.

For a snapshot of what you stand to pay, $49 will get you between Coffs Harbour and Sydney, $59 will get you between Brisbane and the Whitsunday Coast and $65 will get you between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Travel dates range between 1 August and 13 September with some black out dates over weekends on popular routes such as Melbourne-Adelaide and Sydney-Brisbane.

If you're seeking a weekend city break but aren't particular about the destination, there are plenty of alternative routes available that won't come with this peak period clause. Examples include: Sydney to Adelaide and Melbourne to Brisbane.

This Tigerair sale ends midday 8 July 2017 unless sold out prior.
