game of thrones s6 finale

With Game of Thrones finished for another season, everyone is talking about the soundtrack to the show's finale.

The white raven has arrived and Winter is here, as anyone who watched the Game of Thrones season 6 finale can attest. But while the night is dark and full of spoilers (unlike this story) the real standout of the final episode from season 6 was not the resolution of key plot points and the setup for an epic season 7, but the incredible soundtrack to the show.

Music streaming service Spotify has released some numbers following the show's finale that illustrate just how powerful the soundtrack was. Since the finale ended on Monday, the track Light of the Seven by Ramin Djawadi, which opened the show, has seen a massive 5,827% increase in streams on the music platform.

And if Spotify isn't really your style, the track is also up on YouTube so you can be the three-eyed raven and relive the experience in your mind's eye over and over again.
