Just another excuse to plan that Europe trip, no?

Hot on the heels of the news that a Star Wars hotel is planned for Disney World Orlando, now Disneyland Paris has revealed it too is getting a themed hotel makeover to the tune of the Marvel universe.

Replacing the current Disneyland Paris resort Hotel New York, the new hotel will be aptly named, Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel and for excited fanboys and fangirls, it doesn't disappoint on the comic front.

Within its walls, this four-star resort is set to display numerous movie and comic memorabilia, including props and costumes from the films and TV shows as well as fan art inspired by the original comics.

In line with its name, the decor will also have a distinct New York feel.

During its announcement at this year's D3 Expo in Anaheim, chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts Bob Chapek remarked that, "We’re going to create a hotel at Disneyland Paris that would make Tony Stark proud", sparking rumours that the exterior may be built to resemble Stark Tower. With only 565-rooms however, it's doubtful the hotel will hold a candle to the real thing in size and magnanimity, though from the looks of these teaser artist concepts, the sleek interior may make up for it.

“I’m thrilled to announce that Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will transport our guests to the action-packed, inspiring world of superheroes including Iron Man, The Avengers and Spider Man among others!” said Bob Chapek.

There's no news yet when the hotel will be available to book, though Disney is doubtfully working on it at superhero speed.
