The Click Frenzy Travel deals that actually do save you money

Click Frenzy Travel has given us a plethora of deals to wade through - our experts picked the ones that stand out.

There are so many travel deals available that when a sale like this launches, it hard to know which deals really are something special. Our travel experts comb through flight, hotel and cruise deals daily, so it takes a lot to impress us. Often a lot of deals can appear to be strong sales, but they're just the "promotion" a travel company offers year-round.
These were our four top picks from this year's Click Frenzy Travel flash sale.

1.) Intertrips China Tour for $799

Beware - this is only for the first 30 customers, so you'll need to be quick.

Why is it a good deal?

  • We've never seen a China tour fall below $999, even when on sale
  • This trip includes international flights and all transfers
  • It's a solid discount: the regular price is $1,399

What to watch our for:

Your China visa won't be included - this will cost extra.

2.) 30% off Contiki Tours through STA Travel

If group adventures are your bag (or you're keen to try one), this sale is likely to cure your wanderlust.

Why is it a good deal?

  • This is cheaper than Contiki's direct deal - which is 20% off Asia tours
  • A solid discount at almost a third off the standard price
  • Contiki has a great selection of tours and is a reputable brand amongst globe-trotting Aussies

What to look out for:

Contiki offers a great product, so its price isn't always the absolute cheapest. If you're after pure value (and don't need good quality accommodation), do compare against other tour providers before booking.

3.) 3-Night Tangalooma Stay inc transfers for $299pp

This deal includes a wild dolphin feeding - you can't put a price on that.

Why is it a good deal?

  • We searched the dates this is available and found the rate to be $700-$800 (this deal would be $598)
  • The $200 room credit really tips this one from a good deal to a great deal
  • Great for those that want to getaway but can't take too much leave

What to look out for:

It's definitely a "from" price, so you might have to be flexible with your dates.

4.) Avalon Waterways: 2 For 1 on various 2017 cruises

A European river cruise is a once-in-a-lifetime getaway and this deal lets you take someone for free.

Why is it a good deal?

  • It's hard to argue with 2 for 1 - it's effectively half price
  • This isn't just on one cruise, it's available on a range of voyages like Prague to Paris, Linz to Budapest and Zurich to Amsterdam
  • Often strong cruise deals are last-minute, but this one has departures as late as October 2017

What to look out for:

Bear in mind that the second (free) passenger still has to pay the compulsory port charges and gratuities.

All of the deals in Click Frenzy Travel's sale are available for 24 hours only and finish at 6:59pm tomorrow (19 October 2016). Many will be limited availability, so prices might not remain as initially advertised.
