Tenset is a crypto hedge fund that generates profits from a variety of different investments across a range of sectors within the cryptocurrency industry. The hedge fund aims to combine elements from both traditional centralised finance (CeFi) and decentralised finance (DeFi) to create the so-called exchange-traded fund 2.0 (ETF 2.0).
According to the project’s website, the hedge fund can be accessed through the 10set token, a deflationary utility token that runs on both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain blockchains. By holding the 10set token users gain exposure to all of the cryptocurrency assets and traditional stocks held by the Tenset hedge fund. In addition to gaining exposure to crypto and traditional stocks, the 10set token offers additional utility within the project’s native Gem Launch and Infinity Airdrop modules. The first module, Gem Launch, is a launchpad for high growth potential cryptocurrency projects, which users can access with the 10set token. Likewise, 10set token holders can also stake tokens to access the Infinity Airdrop mechanism which offers daily airdrops to users. To encourage adoption and ensure the token is deflationary for all users, a proportion of all platform fees are used to buy back the 10set token and burn it from circulation, therefore, reducing the total supply.
