Telltale Games announces new Batman, The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead

Brodie Fogg 20 July 2017 NEWS

All during the Telltale Games' summer update.

After forgoing a conference at E3 2017, Telltale Games held their very own Nintendo Direct-style stream, announcing not one, not two, but three series returns: Batman: The Enemy Within, the final season of The Walking Dead and (finally) The Wolf Among Us 2.

Batman: The Enemy Within will pit Gotham's moodiest millionaire against The Riddler. Riddler is the perfect enemy for a Telltale Game, so let's hope his mind-bending, skull-splitting brain teasers translate well to Telltale's unique style of gameplay.

Second up is the fourth and final season of The Walking Dead. We're finally going to see a close to Clementine's story, the character we've been following along with since 2012. While a character's story coming to an end in The Walking Dead universe can usually only mean one thing, here's hoping Clem (who will be voiced one last time by the magnificent Melissa Hutchinson) makes it through unscathed.

Lastly, season two of The Wolf Among Us is coming in 2018. The details on the second season are a little scarce so far, but we do know the main voice cast will be returning and that season two will be a brand-new story and won't touch on the tease from season one's finale. The Wolf Among Us is a very stylish detective noir that really hit it off with fans thanks to its intriguing story and gloriously brutal fight scenes.

That's all for now. We'll be sure you keep you updated as more details on The Wolf Among Us emerge.
