Where and when Australians can buy the new Tarte Shape Tape foundations
Tarte Cosmetics two Shape Tape foundations have officially dropped and we couldn't be happier.
Update: Tarte Cosmetics just simply couldn't wait. Rather than holding out till their original launch date of the 21st of January, Tarte Cosmetics decided to start the year right and just dropped both the Matte and Hydrating Shape Tape foundations. Plus, the beauty brand is also introducing 10 new shape tape foundation shades for you to fall in love with! The only place australians can purchase the Shape Tape foundation from is directly from the Tarte Cosmetics website. We don't expect this to stay in stock for a while so you'll probably want to get a move on if you're after one of these bad boys. Plus with free international shipping for orders over $90, there is no excuse not to shop.
We've been on the edge of our seats for the last few weeks, waiting for a word to cling our hopes on that Tarte Cosmetics would answer our prayers and bless us with a Shape Tape foundation range. And you know what? The time has finally come. Announced on the @trendmood1 Instagram today, we can see that not only will we be receiving a full collection of both matte and hydrating foundations, but we're also looking at new brushes, a new sponge AND a new eye primer. Because one foundation range isn't enough – Tarte love to go all out and honestly, we're so grateful. In terms of the products themselves, the foundation seems quite similar to the original concealer, with a doe-foot applicator to dispense the product. We're pretty stoked to see that because if it's anything like the iconic Shape Tape concealer's application, it applies a LOT of product – trust us, a little goes a long, long way. With two formulations to choose from, everyone's skin type is taken care of. Prefer a matte finish? No worries. Want a bit of dewiness? Totally fine. And if you've got your heart set on the fullest coverage possible, just pop on the Shape Tape concealer as well and you'll literally look flawless. There are fifteen shades available at the moment, but here's hoping that they may expand the range with higher demand - especially given the increase in wider ranges like the Fenty Beauty foundation and the Huda Beauty #FauxFilter foundation.
Where and when can you buy the new Tarte Shape Tape foundations?Tarte teased an addition to the range earlier this month, but honestly, nobody was expecting such a huge array of products. Speculation was high at a foundation, but two? With brushes? Not a chance. So now the big question is, when are we going to get them? According to the post, we can expect to see them as soon as the 21st of this month (January) online, though February 4th will be the drop date in stores. Considering we're only halfway through January, we're trying our best to be patient. Although Tarte Cosmetics products are available at Sephora in Australia, the Shape Tape concealers have been an online exclusive to the Tarte Cosmetics website. We're hoping now that with the addition of these extra products, it'll justify the introduction of the range to Australian Sephora stores. Do you hear us, Tarte? We're begging! If not, then don't fear, the Tarte Cosmetics website still ships to Australia so you'll be able purchase the new foundation as well as the original concealers! In the meantime, you can get some of the other awesome Tarte products at your local Sephora, including the Rainforest of the Sea collection and the iconic Tartelette Toasted palette.
