When and where to buy the new Tarte Cosmetics Foundcealer
Tarte Cosmetics has created a foundation that is actually good for your skin.
Only a few weeks ago did Tarte Cosmetics reveal the newest Face Tape foundation. I mean, Tarte only just revealed its newest eyeshadow palette yesterday and it's already back launching a new product that is a foundation but also isn't.
No, we're not trying to be cryptic. Tarte has just revealed its newest creation, Foundcealer. From the name, you assume that it's a foundation so pigmented that it could double as a concealer. Wrongo.
The product's full name is the Babassu Foundcealer Vegan Skincare Foundation SPF 20 but this doesn't really tell you why it's such a game changer. This foundation actually doubles as a skincare product. The formula contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E and titular babassu, a "superbalm" from the rainforest with nourishing, moisturizing and soothing properties. Sounds pretty impressive.
Tarte also states that those who tested out the foundation reported a positive difference in their skin over time. They found less fine lines in under two weeks and due to the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide ingredients this product helped prevent additional signs of sun damage.
The foundation itself is a light to medium coverage that's also fairly buildable. Meaning, you can customise your coverage for day and night-time wear. You can apply with your fingers for light coverage, a brush for medium or a beauty sponge for something a little more in-between the two. It features a radiant finish so those who enjoy a glowy or dewy finish can rejoice.
There are 30 shades altogether with 5 completely different undertones, similar to the Face Tape foundation. This product is also vegan and cruelty-free, in case you needed any more reason to love it. From the demonstrations on the Tarte Cosmetics story, this foundation looks as radiant as it's described and it melts into the skin like a dream. I'm also more than prepared to blow an entire week's rent on stocking up on this product.
When and where can you buy them?
Even though this product was only revealed this morning, it will be launching sooner than you think! You will be able to purchase the Babassu Foundcealer Vegan Skincare Foundation in two weeks. It will drop on the Tarte Cosmetics site and the Sephora site on the 21 March so mark those calendars!
