Take on Europe with Etihad flights from $793 return

Full-service flights on a luxury airline never sounded so good.

Feeling FOMO staring at all your friends' feeds of sunny Europe? You've still got time to join them – and likely for a hefty discount compared to what they paid, too!

It's all thanks to 5-star airline Etihad Airways which is running a special offer sale to Europe's top destinations. The airline is advertising flights from $991 on its website, but if you hit up I Want That Flight you can find September and November trips from just $793 return. Score!

These are on journeys between Perth and Dublin only with flights from Melbourne to Dublin also on sale from $909 return. Both routes can be booked through I Want That Flight here.

Dates are limited and some have already sold out so if you're keen you'd best get on them ASAP.

For everyone else, Etihad also has sale flights to Paris, Istanbul, Rome, Frankfurt, London, Athens and Manchester. Sample fares to these destinations include: Perth–Rome from $1,020, Melbourne–London from $1,171 and Perth–Istanbul from $905 return.

These other fares are available for travel between 1 September and 12 June 2019.

They're all on sale until 12 August, unless sold out prior.

Book them now via the official Etihad Airways site here.

How good are these fares?

  • Price: Great! At under $800 return, you're staring at 5-star fares for 3-star prices. To compare, Air China was offering Europe flights from $839 earlier this year.
  • Airline: Great. Eithad is a 5-star full-service airline and all checked luggage, in-flight entertainment and meals are included in your fare.
  • Travel time: Great. All flights include one stop in Abu Dhabi, which breaks up the journey nicely while getting you to your European destination in good time.
  • Weather: Good. While not peak-season fares, you'll still be able to catch autumn and spring travel dates, which offer idyllic weather conditions that are not too hot and not too cold.
