Sorry, this sale is no longer running. Check our list of current flight sales to find a bargain!

Time to pay one of Australia's closest neighbours a visit? Right now Jetstar is offering cheap flights to New Zealand for the period of April to June, and July to September, and October to November. These are bookable on I Want That Flight.

Fly out of the Gold Coast, Sydney or Melbourne and right into New Zealand's top destinations. Most of them are going for under $200 return, though you'll have to pay just a tad more to get to Queenstown, but hey, flights are during prime skiing time so they're still a bang-on bargain. Remember to add luggage, at extra cost, if you need to.

These Jetstar flights are available until sold out and can be booked online here. Here's what's on offer:

Cheap flights to Christchurch
  • Melbourne to Christchurch - $187 return
  • Sydney to Christchurch - $191 return
  • Gold Coast to Christchurch - $199 return
Cheap flights to Queenstown
  • Sydney to Queenstown - $240 return
  • Gold Coast to Queenstown - $200 return
  • Melbourne to Queenstown - $216 return
Cheap flights to Wellington
  • Gold Coast to Wellington - $179 return
Cheap flights to Auckland
  • Melbourne to Auckland - $187 return
  • Gold Coast to Auckland - $191 return
  • Sydney to Auckland - $191 return

These budget airfares were advertised on the I Want That Flight deals page, however if you dig deeper and look on its New Zealand flight sales page you can find that very select dates have better prices. For example, Sydney to Christchurch goes down to $143 return when flying 25-30 June.

Otherwise the prices mentioned below are quite comparable to the current Virgin Australia Mates Rates sale, which has Melbourne to Christchurch flights from $179 however to snap up that fare you have to travel in groups of 2-9.
