It's the blissful beach escape you've been dreaming of.

Flights to the Maldives have been sitting around the $400+ mark lately, but no more thanks to Scoot's latest budget-friendly flight sale.

In it, we've found flights to the Maldives from the enviably low price of $378 return.

Yes, return. The catch is that as you're flying budget, this price only includes your seat and carry-on luggage. For meals, entertainment and checked bags, a fee will be charged. However, if you're savvy enough and bring your own meals and entertainment and pack light, you can get away with this super cheap fare.

Flights from Perth start from $378 return while flights from Gold Coast start from $418. Flights from Melbourne or Sydney start from $438 return.

Flights take off from February to May, which is predominantly dry season and a popular time of year to visit.

Book: You'll find these fares available to book through I Want That Flight.

They're on sale until sold out, which won't be too long.

How good are these fares?

  • Price: Great. It's rare prices to the Maldives fall below $400 return, and with no departure city costing more than $440, this is the sale to beat.
  • Airline: Good. Scoot is a budget airline and fares mentioned above only include your seat. Any extras such as checked bags will incur a fee.
  • Travel time: Great. All flights include a stopover in Singapore, which is home to one of the best layover airports in the world.
  • Weather: Great. November to April is dry season in the Maldives. Avoid flights in May and you'll be sitting pretty on that beach or in that over-the-water bungalow.
