AirAsia is spending every day of this week offering a fabulous new flight deal and today is no exception. On discount are trips to its home city, Kuala Lumpur, for as little as $188 return. This is on departures from Perth between March and April 2018.

Other Australian cities in its network have not been forgotten, but aren't nearly as cheap. These are priced at $296 return whether you're flying from Sydney, Gold Coast or Melbourne. The only difference is the dates you need to travel in order to pay these prices.

  • From Sydney - travel during May 2018
  • From Gold Coast - travel during August or September 2017
  • From Melbourne - travel during September or October 2017

While your optimal travel dates by price will depend on where you're departing from, it's good to keep in mind that one of the best times to travel to Malaysia is between November and March as this is the dry season. This travel time really only works for visitors from Perth, making these fares exceptional.

For those travelling from the Gold Coast or Melbourne, you're in luck as the east cost of Malaysia is best visited between April and September, so you can adjust your itinerary accordingly.

This sale ends 27 August 2017 unless seats sell out prior. You can browse and book flights for these prices on the online travel agency I Want That Flight.
