Fiji Airways is no stranger to a good sale on flights to the USA and right now it's boasting fares to sunny Los Angeles from $805 return.

If you like to watch the numbers, you'll know that this is a pretty big deal for an airline that generally offers $839 sale fares for these journeys. Plus, you get the added benefit of flying on an all-inclusive carrier with checked baggage, in-flight entertainment and on-board meals all thrown in for free.

This low price will get you from Sydney to LA and back in November, though Melbourne fares aren't too far behind. In fact, they're only $5 more, priced at $810 return when travelling during late January and February 2018.

This means that you will be travelling during winter in the US, however, the good news is that Los Angeles is the type of city that never truly gets too cold. During winter you'll find temperatures range from 8-20°C, which is ideal for sightseeing.

Sydney and Melbourne may be getting the best deals for this sale, but the other cities haven't been forgotten. Here are your cheapest options when flying from elsewhere in Australia:

  • Brisbane to Los Angeles from $824 return (between October and December 2017)
  • Adelaide to Los Angeles from $1,087 return (between October and November 2017 on a combination of Fiji Airways and Virgin Australia flights)

Searching for something different? In conjunction with this sale, Fiji Airways has also slashed prices on flights to San Francisco. Prices start at $817 return from Melbourne and $822 return from Sydney.

All flights include a stopover in Nadi and are on sale until 20 September unless seats sell out prior.
