Greek food in Sydney

When a cuisine is hailed as being one of the healthiest in the world and doesn’t comprise of lettuce leaves and fruit juices, you tend to turn a head or two. The Mediterranean diet is rich and fresh: fish, olives, zucchini and eggplant are often on the plate, as are juicy cuts of meat.

Lamb is perhaps the more popular option, made slow baked off the bone or grilled, typically. Natural plain yoghurts are a staple, accompanying anything from salads to meats. Another staple? Ouzo. Ahhh, now you remember what your last Greek meal was like… or do you?
