  • Refund not available. Unused tickets are not eligible for a refunds. You may change your flight (flight number and travel dates only) up to a few hours before your flight departure, but this will depend on your departure airport. Check your fare rules if you are not sure.

What is Swiss Airlines Baggage Allowance?

All passengers travelling on a Swiss Airline flight are permitted to take hand luggage weighing no more than 8kg each (Economy travellers are permitted to take one bag while Business and First Class passengers are permitted two). Free check-in luggage is also included (Economy: one bag weighing 23kg, Business: two bags weighing 32kg each, and First: three bags weighing 32kg each). If your allowance is not enough, you can purchase more before you fly. Frequent flyers are allowed higher baggage allowances.

What is the Swiss Airlines booking process?

The booking process for Swiss Airline is fairly simple. Search for flights using your intended travel dates and compare the options. Add extras, select your meal or seat preferences, or hold your booking for 72 hours. If you want to book straight away, click ‘Continue’. Enter your details (you will need your passport) and enter your payment information. An email will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed.

What is the Swiss Airlines cancellations, changes and refunds policy?

Most flights can be changed online, up to a few hours before departure (depending on your departure airport). Just log into your account to modify your travel details. If you have purchased a refundable ticket, you will be able to claim back your fare money as long as you have not yet checked-in. Unused tickets are not refundable. If you have purchased a non-refundable ticket, and need to cancel, you will be able to rebook a different flight with Swiss Airlines.
