SUN is a new player in the decentralised finance (DeFi) world and offers a unique selling point when compared with similar platforms. Whereas most DeFi swapping applications are built on either Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain, SUN is the first stablecoin decentralised exchange (DEX) built on the Tron blockchain. In May 2021, SUN underwent a major overhaul, including token redenomination and redistribution as well as the addition of new platform features.
According to SUN’s website, the application now allows trading between 4 stablecoins: USDJ, TUSD, USDC and USDT. You can provide liquidity to any variation of these pools, alongside staking SUN on the network. There is also a feature known as "SunSwap" that supports the trading of over 10 popular cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
