How do I apply for Student Flights Travel Insurance?

  1. Compare policy options. Choose the policy that best suits your journey type.

  3. Read the PDS. Everything you need to know about your policy is detailed in the policy disclosure statement (PDS). Make sure that the policy you choose meets your insurance expectations.
  4. Check out any additional options. Student Flights Travel Insurance policies can be upgraded with additional options to cover snow sports, valuable items and cancellation costs.

How do I make a claim with Student Flights?

  • Submit the claims form. You can access and fill in the online claims form on the Cover-More website. You’ll need your policy number and you can upload all supporting documentation to the Online Claims Centre. You can also download the claims form, fill it in and send it to the insurer along with supporting documentation.
  • Supporting documentation. You’ll find a checklist for documents to submit as evidence for your claim. Cover-More requires the original of each, so keep copies of your own.
  • Respect the process. Although the aim is to be as efficient as possible, the time it can take will differ according to the nature of the claim. You should allow the process to take its course and refrain from offering to pay or settle amounts without consulting your insurer.
