NFL Game Pass features

Besides the ability to stream live games, NFL Game Pass comes with other features that will appeal to football fans, as well as exciting on-demand content.

Whether you get the PRO or Essential plan, you will have access to Sunday in 60, a full NFL Sunday in about 60 minutes. Every Monday, highlights of every single game will be available in one highlight pack, ready to be streamed or downloaded, making it easy to stay up to date. Great if you're short on time.

Speaking of downloading, NFL Game Pass enables you to download content on mobile devices to watch on the go without burning through your data similar to NBA League Pass. You can also stream on five devices at the same time, which lets share your subscription with a loved one, for instance.

Starting September 2020, the platform finally let users resume content where they left off. That means you can start any on-demand NFL show or highlights pack, stop part way through and pick up the action in the same spot. This will work across all your devices.

If you tune in for a game late, you can see what you missed with an instant recap of all the big plays from earlier in the game so you're caught up. Besides, the service also offers closed captions where available and a No Spoilers Mode so you can hide scores for games you've missed live and plan to watch on demand.

All games are available in Coaches Film, an alternate viewing mode with different camera angles that coaches, scouts and game officials use for post-game analysis. Coaches Films generally drop on the service 36 hours after the live games during the regular season.

Finally, while live games are likely what fans will get most excited about, the on-demand library available with NFL Game Pass is not too shabby. You can watch original NFL films and learn more about your favourite teams, players and storylines from NFL's history. You can also tune in to previous seasons of Hard Knocks, A Football Life, America's Game and many more, all downloadable to your mobile device.
