Rebecca Gibney's Wanted and the latest season of Gogglebox head up a strong week of Aussie TV.

Watching the latest American TV shows is great and all, but it's nice to see a few Australian creations on the big streaming services now and then. Thankfully, this week marks the arrival of one of the more popular home-grown dramas of recent history, with Wanted making its debut on Netflix.

Created by and starring the always-excellent Rebecca Gibney, Wanted follows Lola (Gibney) and Chelsea (Geraldine Hakewill) as they flee across Australia in a car filled with cash as dirty cops chase them for a crime they didn't commit. It's thrilling stuff and a fantastic addition to Netflix's primarily American catalogue.

If that's not grim enough for your weekly binge session, Stan has just the solution. Child of God, a dark thriller based on the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name, sees the social outcast Lester Ballard sink deep into crime and depravity during the 1960s. Written and directed by James Franco, the haunting flick will stave off sleep better than any cup of coffee.

Foxtel joins Netflix in bringing Aussie entertainment to the streaming screen this week, kicking off the seventh season of the social-experiment-turned-TV-show Gogglebox. The sixth season of Project Runway All Stars also struts its stuff via the Arena channel.

Finally, hayu rounds out the week of reality TV with the debut of Bethenny & Fredrik. Starring the titular duo, both of whom are multi-millionaires with significant experience in the art of business, the show sees the pair attempt to build their own real estate empire by renovating then flipping houses for a profit.
