The biggest new releases coming to Netflix, Stan, hayu and Foxtel this week
From Eat Pray Love to John Wick: Chapter Two, it's an action-packed Valentine's week on Aussie streaming services.
Love is in the airwaves this week, with no shortage of heart-warming rom-coms hitting Australian streaming services in celebration of flower sellers' favourite day of the entire year. Rather than spending hundreds of dollars on a fancy dinner or an over-priced movie ticket, you can cuddle up on the couch for a cosy stay-at-home Valentine's Day no matter which streaming service you subscribe to.
If you favour Netflix, you've got plenty of couple-friendly new releases to choose from this week. Arriving Wednesday, the Indian romantic comedy Love Per Square Foot follows a young couple as they deal with the difficulties of buying their first home. Wednesday also sees the debut of the Netflix Original Everything Sucks!, a high-school comedy well suited to sharing a laugh with your loved one.
Stan, on the other hand, takes a more classic approach, adding the Julia Roberts drama Eat Pray Love to its library. If you've had your fill of romance, Saturday sees the fourth season of the hit Amazon comedy series Mozart in the Jungle join Stan's catalogue.
The mood is a little less warm and fuzzy over at Foxtel, where Supernanny Jo Frost investigates Britain's homicidal youth in Jo Frost on Killer Kids. On hayu, meanwhile, you can sneak a peek at the upcoming docu-series Model Squad, which dives into the high-stakes world of professional modelling.
