How to watch Penrith Panthers vs South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL final live and free
The white-hot Panthers tackle the in-form Rabbitohs with a place in the NRL grand final on the line. This is how you can watch live.
Rugby league fans have been known to call preliminary final weekend the best weekend of the year; four teams in peak form facing off for a place in the grand final. That is certainly the case in this all-Sydney clash at ANZ Stadium.
Penrith have won 16 straight matches and are short-priced favourites to make it to this year's decider. But the Rabbitohs have been putting big scores on the board the past three weeks and will like their chances of upsetting the Panthers' potentially historic season.
When is Panthers vs Rabbitohs NRL preliminary final?
This all-Sydney stoush gets underway at 7:50pm AEDT on Saturday 17 October at ANZ Stadium. Take a look back at our full 2020 NRL season draw.

Who will win Panthers vs Souths?
Minor premiers Penrith have just produced one of the great regular seasons in NRL history. From their 20 matches, they earned a sensational 18 wins, with 1 draw and just 1 defeat. The draw came against Newcastle in week 3 while the loss was to Parramatta in week 5. They are currently riding a 16-game winning streak.
The Rabbitohs didn't reach anywhere near those heights in an inconsistent season. Their 12-8 win-loss record left them sixth on the ladder. But Souths have reeled off 9 victories in their past 11 matches, thrashing the Roosters and Knights before last week's knockout win over the Eels.
So in a match-up of in-form teams, who wins it? Wayne Bennett's Rabbitohs have been impressive in recent weeks, but for months now Penrith have seemed on course for something special in 2020. We can't see them falling short of the biggest game of the year.
