How to watch Geelong Cats vs Collingwood Magpies AFL finals live and free in Australia
The quest for another flag ends for one of Collingwood or Geelong this weekend. Who'll win and take on the Lions?
Collingwood only just managed to punch their ticket to the semi-finals, after they beat West Coast by a single point. They'll now need to put the emotion of last week's victory behind them as they take on Geelong.
Both clubs will likely be relishing the opportunity of playing at a neutral venue this week. The two sides so far have had to play in front of West Coast and Port Adelaide who were buoyed by home crowds. It'll be interesting to see if that plays a part.
When is Geelong vs Collingwood?
The opening bounce of Geelong vs Collingwood will be from The Gabba at 7:40pm AEDT on Saturday 10 October 2020.
How to watch Geelong vs Collingwood
Channel 7 and Fox Sports both have the broadcast rights to Cats vs Pies. Depending on the state you live in, Geelong vs Collingwood may be on 7mate instead of Channel 7. So if you've got access to the Seven Network you can easily watch for free. However, it will not be available via 7plus, so if you need to stream the match you'll need a subscription service.
Your streaming options to watch are via Foxtel iQ, Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports. If you're looking to watch from outside Australia you'll need Watch AFL. We have a full breakdown of AFL broadcasters here.

Live stream Geelong vs Collingwood from overseas
If outside of Australia the only way to guarantee you can watch the game live is via Watch AFL. While there are some places in the world AFL is broadcast into, there's still a chance due to popularity it may be replaced by something else. Unlike in Australia they don't guarantee how many AFL fixtures they'll show.
You can stream the rest of the finals on Watch AFL for $89 courtesy of its AFL Finals Pass. Purchasing it will guarantee you access to every single game live or on demand including the grand final.
Who will win Magpies vs Cats?
Geelong are considered slight favourites heading into the game. They also come in fresh from a week off after winning in the opening round of the finals. Given what Collingwood went through last week and travelling from Perth to Brisbane for this match, Geelong definitely have an edge. For that reason we'll opt for Geelong by one or two goals.
