How to watch Carlton Blues vs Collingwood Magpies AFL live and free
The stakes are higher than they've been for some time when fierce rivals Carlton and Collingwood meet in Brisbane. Catch the action via these options.
You would be hard-pressed to find a more heated rivalry in Australian sport than Carlton vs Collingwood. But the magnitude of the match-up has dwindled while the Blues suffered through a couple of mostly dreadful decades since their last premiership in 1995.
In 2020, the signs are promising. Collingwood have rediscovered some form and sit seventh at the time of writing. The Blues under coach David Teague sit six points back. Win this one and, with a reasonable draw to finish the season, the Carlton faithful will be dreaming of bigger stages. The Blues haven't featured in the finals since 2013.
When is Carlton vs Collingwood?
Rather than a packed MCG, these famous old clubs will face off at the Gabba in Brisbane in round 14 of the 2020 AFL draw. The opening bounce is at 3:35pm AEST on Sunday 30 August.

Who will win Blues vs Magpies?
Regardless of how either of these teams are travelling in any given season, anyone can get up and win. The Pies have won three straight in this match-up, but the lowly Blues did win two out of three before that. Collingwood do appear to have steadied after some poor recent form. But we think the Blues might steal this one and tighten up the postseason race.
