Laurie Daley and Kevin Walters, the respective coaches of New South Wales and Queensland, today reveal their teams for Game 3 of the 2016 series.

Don’t listen to the haters; there’s no such thing as a dead rubber in State of Origin. Sure it may not be the best game of rugby we will see this year, but it will be in the top three as the best players from each state go head-to-head with pride on offer.

For Queensland, it’s a chance for a rare clean-sweep. For NSW, a chance to save face in front of their home fans and head into Game 1, 2017 with momentum, confidence and one more vital game of experience and trust in their combinations.

If you too are a rugby league tragic, we invite you to check out our report on how the 1995 series broke State of Origin eligibility rules, and how you can watch a live stream.
