Where to find the best price on State of Decay 2 in Australia

Matt Sayer 22 May 2018 NEWS

With more resources and better hardware to work with, Undead Labs is going all-in on the zombie apocalypse with State of Decay 2. Here's how to scrounge up a good deal on the game in Australia.

The original State of Decay was one of those games that succeeded in spite of itself. Made on a shoestring budget, the open-world zombie survival game was chock-full of promising ideas, from its deep base-building mechanics to the meaningful interactions between your group of survivors and how it affected their morale and ability to fight. Despite its lofty ambitions, though, technical and budget limitations meant State of Decay also had plenty of jank, with performance issues and ho-hum shooting keeping the game from achieving its full potential.

State of Decay 2 aims to change this. Developer Undead Labs has grown considerably since the first game, receiving support directly from Microsoft to bring its vision to fruition on both Xbox One and PC. While the basic premise of building up a community of survivors and leveraging their unique abilities to fend off the zombie apocalypse remains intact, State of Decay 2 expands its horizons by integrating a drop-in, drop-out four-player co-op, allowing you to team up with your buddies for the first time in the series.

If the prospect of a larger, more robust take on State of Decay's novel ideas leaves you hankering to lop the head off an undead abomination, check out the table above for the best prices on State of Decay 2 in Australia.
