Benefits of getting a credit card with St.George Bank
Some of the key features you can get with a St.George credit card include:
Contactless payments
St.George credit cards are enabled with Visa payWave, meaning you can use your card to "tap and go" to make contactless payments at participating merchants. You can also make payments from your mobile phone or another compatible device with the following mobile wallets:
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Samsung Pay
My Offers Hub
A personal St.George card gives you access to discounts and offers with brands such as Myer, Priceline and THE ICONIC. To see the latest deals through the My Offers Hub, you just have to log in to your account and go to the "My offers and benefits" section on mobile or Internet banking.
Instalment plans
St.George offers 0% interest instalment plans for new purchases, giving you a structured way to pay them off over 3, 6 or 12 months. Known as Plan&Pay, you can set up an instalment plan for any credit card purchase over $200 that you've made in the previous 30 days, and can cancel it at any time. While there's no interest for these instalment plans, you'll pay an upfront fee of 1% for a 3-month plan, 2% for 6-month plans and 4% for 12-month plans.
Security
St.George credit cards come with 24/7 fraud monitoring and support services to help keep your account safe. If you suspect any suspicious transactions or need to report a lost, stolen or damaged card, you can contact the St.George 24/7 customer service centre in Australia on 1800 028 208 or overseas on +61 2 9155 7800. The St.George Fraud Money Back Guarantee also means you won't have to cover the cost of fraudulent transactions if they're made on your credit card.

As with introductory balance transfers, you also won't be able to move debt if it's on an existing St.George, Bank of Melbourne or BankSA card.
Yes, you can switch between the Amplify Rewards and the Amplify Qantas rewards programs at any time. Just get in touch with St.George Bank and ask for a Program Switch Request form.
If you have a St.George credit card that earns rewards, you'll earn points for most everyday purchases. This includes shopping at the supermarket, retail stores, petrol stations and at restaurants or online stores. But transactions that are not eligible to earn points include balance transfers, BPAY transactions and cash advances (including getting cash out). Refer to the Amplify and Amplify Qantas rewards card terms and conditions booklet available on the St.George website for full details of what transactions will and won't earn points.

Finder makes money from featured partners, but editorial opinions are our own.
Finder is one of Australia's leading comparison websites. We are committed to our readers and stand by our editorial principles.
We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labeling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
We make money by featuring products on our site. Compensation received from the providers featured on our site can influence which products we write about as well as where and how products appear on our page, but the order or placement of these products does not influence our assessment or opinions of them, nor is it an endorsement or recommendation for them.
Products marked as 'Top Pick', 'Promoted' or 'Advertisement' are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. Finder may receive remuneration from the Provider if you click on the related link, purchase or enquire about the product. Finder's decision to show a 'promoted' product is neither a recommendation that the product is appropriate for you nor an indication that the product is the best in its category. We encourage you to use the tools and information we provide to compare your options.
Where our site links to particular products or displays 'Go to site' buttons, we may receive a commission, referral fee or payment when you click on those buttons or apply for a product.
When products are grouped in a table or list, the order in which they are initially sorted may be influenced by a range of factors including price, fees and discounts; commercial partnerships; product features; and brand popularity. We provide tools so you can sort and filter these lists to highlight features that matter to you.
Please read our website terms of use and privacy policy for more information about our services and our approach to privacy.
We update our data regularly, but information can change between updates. Confirm details with the provider you're interested in before making a decision.
