Why should Australian customers care about Skims being stocked at Nordstrom?
Happy Wednesday! Boy oh boy have we got some good news to brighten up your hump day.
Skims is launching exclusively at Nordstrom.
That's right, you can now shop the solution shapewear (approved by Kim Kardashian West) from Nordstrom.
The retailer will start to carry the best-selling collections first, as well as accessories like body tape and pasties. Additional product offerings will debut monthly, so keep your eyes peeled for more.
When is this all happening?
Mark your calendars and set those phone reminders! Skims will be launching into Nordstrom stores on the 5 February.
Why should you care?
Up until now, you've only been able to purchase the garments from Skims online. So it's a pretty big deal that you can now grab your favourite pieces from another retailer.
When Skims first dropped, it received fairly positive reviews. However, there were some complaints from Australian customers – prices weren't displayed in AUD and the international shipping charges were high.
If you're an Australian shopping at Nordstrom, you'll notice that all the prices and payments are shown in AUD. Plus, the international shipping costs are based on your items, shipping method and destination.
Kardashian West said in a statement: "Nordstrom is renowned for its unmatched customer service and inclusive size offerings. It was essential to me that we launch with the full range of sizes and shades that Skims has to offer, which is a value shared by Nordstrom."
