Bend time in this trippy, bullet-hell shooter remastered for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

When it comes to video game remasters, bullet-hell shooters don't typically top the list. There's only so much graphical polish you can give a game where any visual distraction spells instant death.

Sine Mora, though, wasn't your average bullet-hell shooter. Released back in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3, its art and sound design came by way of Grasshopper Manufacture, Suda51's quirky studio responsible for delightfully weird games like Killer7, No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned. On the gameplay side of things, Sine Mora flipped traditional shoot 'em up mechanics on their head by doing away with the concept of health and replacing it with something far more interesting: time.

Each level in Sine Mora operates on a timer, ticking down to your untimely demise. Taking damage causes time to drain even faster, while blasting enemies to bits adds precious seconds to your longevity. This makes for a novel balance of risk and reward, since you won't reach the end of the level without darting between bullets and bringing down enemies.

Given its unique spin on bullet-hell shooting, it's no wonder that THQ Nordic is bringing Sine Mora back for a second shot on PS4, Xbox One and PC in the form of Sine Mora EX. While effectively the same game it was back on Xbox 360 and PS3, Sine Mora EX adds a two-player local co-op mode, English voice overs in addition to the original Hungarian ones and a selection of new challenge levels for those who can't get enough of the game's time-bending shooting.

Whether you never played Sine Mora back in 2012, or you simply want to re-experience its novel bullet-hell action on your shiny new console, we've got you covered for the game's relaunch on 8 August. Here are the best deals for Sine Mora EX in Australia:
