Shop and earn double Qantas Points until July
Reward yourself with up to 15,000 bonus points when you spend with Qantas partners.
Over the next three months, Qantas Frequent Flyers can look forward to collecting double the points when spending on the ground. The promotion is divided into three months, allowing frequent flyers to collect a total of up to 15,000 Qantas Points or a maximum of 5,000 Qantas Points each month.
The maximum points caps apply to the following periods:
- Month 1. 30 March - 30 April 2017
- Month 2. 1 May - 31 May 2017
- Month 3. 1 June - 13 July 2017
To give your points balance a boost and redeem your dream reward sooner, you just need to register and start spending! Then you’ll receive twice as many points on all eligible purchases made between 30 March 2017 and 13 June 2017, which will be credited to your account and ready to redeem for rewards by 13 July 2017.
As the earn rates differ between partnered retailers, exactly how many points you could earn will depend on where you shop and how much you spend. Just a few examples include you’ll collect 2 points per $1 spent on Airbnb, 10 points per $1 spent with David Jones, 4 points per $1 spent on Microsoft products or 8 points per $1 spent with Nike while the double points promotion is in place. Use our search tool to discover everywhere you can earn Qantas Points for more ideas to help you maximise your points in the next three months.
Unfortunately, the promotion doesn’t offer bonus points on flights, family transfers or transferred points (such as points transferred from partnered hotel rewards programs or credit card reward points). However, Qantas is still offering double points on flights in a separate promotion for flights booked by 11.59pm on 3 April 2016 (in other words, today!). Just remember that you have to register for the promotion first and the double points only apply to flights for travel between 15 April 2017 and 28 February 2018.
