    Hi,

Does It allow you to say buy currency for example the pound, then withdraw the funds to a linked account?

Can you have more than one linked account?
Do you have to withdraw funds back to the same account or debit card in which you deposited the funds?

      Hi Steven,

      Thanks for reaching out.

      Sorry for the delayed reply.

      1. Does It allow you to say buy currency, for example, the pound, then withdraw the funds to a linked account?
Yes, you can only withdraw in the same currency you deposited in with.

      2. Can you have more than one linked account?
Your bank account isn’t directly linked to IG. So you would need to manually deposit from your bank account to the IG account via BPay or EFT.

      3. Do you have to withdraw funds back to the same account or debit card in which you deposited the funds?
Yes, you can deposit from any bank account or card held in your name.

      Cheers,
      May

      Hi Steve,

      Thanks for your question.

If you’re a main tax resident of Europe, you may need to open an account in your closest European country. You can then use your Australian bank accounts to trade Canadian and US stocks. Regarding your tax file number, it would depend on whether you are a main tax resident of Europe or Australia. Please note, we are a comparison website and as such, can provide general advice only.

      Regards,
      Clarizza
