Bring the exfoliating properties of the beach home with you, thanks to this sustainable summer beauty must-have.

If you've been neglecting your skincare routine lately, you're not alone. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has changed so much about our day to day lives that it's been easy to forget to exfoliate and hydrate along the way.

As the body's largest organ though, your skin deserves some TLC, and I've recently come across a new skincare favourite that gives it exactly that.

Courtesy of Amazon Australia, I had the chance to try out the SENSORI+ Detoxifying & Rejuvenating Sand Body Polish Bondi Beach 2026, and it's got to be one of the best scrubs that I've used.

The quick verdict

Why is it good? This gentle, yet effective body scrub leaves skin nourished and silky smooth.

How much is it? RRP is $45 for 350g.

Where to buy it: Amazon Australia.

First impressions

As soon as the Body Polish arrived on my desk, I knew that this was going to be something of a luxury product. Rather than the cheap and cheerful packaging of various other scrubs on the market, the SENSORI+ Detoxifying & Rejuvenating Sand Body Polish arrives in a glass jar that wouldn't look out of place in a high-end beauty spa.

It also comes with a little wooden spoon that makes it easy to scoop out just the right amount without making a mess.

Similar to other body polishes, you simply need to gently massage the sand polish into your wet skin in a circular motion. Once you're done, you rinse it off with warm water and use a towel to pat your body completely dry.

Made from natural Australian sand and sugar, the polish acts as both a scrub and a detoxifying agent, leaving skin feeling instantly smoother.

It also contains avocado oil, coconut oil and eucalyptus to refresh the skin, which sets it apart from others on the market that leave skin feeling slightly dehydrated. However, I would still recommend slathering on a decent body lotion afterwards.

As an added bonus, the Body Polish formula is also vegan and completely free of parabens, sulphates and other nasties. The packaging is meanwhile made from recycled material, making it an all-round green beauty product.

Verdict

I've amassed quite an arsenal of body scrubs and polishes in my time, but the SENSORI+ Bondi Beach Sand Body Polish has to be one of my favourites. From the packaging to the product, everything about it gives off luxury day spa vibes.

As someone with quite sensitive skin, I also love that the polish is effective enough to scrub away dead skin, while gentle enough to avoid irritation.

Overall, this is a quality product that's perfect for deep exfoliation, improving skin texture and prepping the skin for tanning or moisturising.

Affordability

The SENSORI+ Sand Body Polish retails for $45, which is around what I would expect to pay for a higher end body polish. It also comes in a generous 350g jar that goes a long way, guaranteeing that you're getting your money's worth.

The Body Polish also delivers on what it promises, making it worth the splurge if you have the money to spend. If you are on a budget though, there are plenty of other affordable options on the market. See our guide on where to buy exfoliants for more.
