Everything you need to know about the Selena Gomez x Coach collab

Alexandra Hourigan 3 April 2018 NEWS

Selena is collaborating with Coach again, but this time... there's going to be clothes!

UPDATE: Alert the media, we just got a sneak peek from Selena Gomez's new Coach Collaboration and it's so 2000 vibes, you'll die.

As a fellow 90s baby, Selena has a strong appreciation for the early 00's just as much as we do. Therefore, it only makes sense that a huge chunk of her inspiration behind this upcoming collection came from arguably the best decade ever. The singer and fashion icon posted a picture to her Instagram featuring one of the new bags that will be in the new Coach collection.

Yes, it's only one bag but that's more than enough to send us into a frenzy! This particular product is called the 'Parker Bag'. From the photo, it's a two-tone black and brown leather bag with a gold chain strap. It has a stud outline to give it that bad ass aesthetic with the Coach logo across the brown panel. It also features a stunning gold flower embellishment that also looks like the clasp to open and close the bag.

If these are the vibes we can expect to see from the collection then you can just take all of my money right now! We can't wait to see some of the clothes from the collab and we'll be sure to let you know when they are revealed!

In my entire life, I don't think I've ever met a person who disliked Selena Gomez. She's the entire world's sweetheart with a 10/10 sense of fashion that you just can't hate. So when she announced another upcoming collection with Coach, we immediately started screaming "Take my money!"

This isn't the first time Selena and Coach have teamed up together, but the difference with this collection is that there will be clothes! Their original collaboration brought to light some super stylish handbags, purses and totes. As a result of the success of the first collection, the two decided they just couldn't deprive the world of more fantastic fashion!

So what can you expect from this new collection? Well, get ready for some ready-to-wear clothing items, small leather goods, accessories, outerwear and of course... handbags. Plus, don't forget these are all Selena Gomez approved.

Details of what the actual products will look like are still fairly hush hush but that's not to say we haven't gotten any sneak peeks! Selena posted to her Instagram announcing her excitement for the upcoming collection alongside a picture of a pale pink/peach dress with lace detailing.

Coach is one of the leading design brands of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections, with a long-standing reputation built on quality craftsmanship and on-trend style. Coach announced the partnership via a press release stating that "the offering reflects Ms Gomez personal style and each piece is imbued with unique touches that speak to Ms. Gomez' unapologetically confident and powerful feminine spirit". If that doesn't get you excited I don't know what will.

So when can you expect to start throwing your money at this collection? A specific drop date has not been announced but you can expect to see this collaboration in stores in Australia in Spring 2018. If you simply just can't wait you can shop the already existing range directly from the Coach site.
