Day Two of MBFWA is the first full day of show and the line-up did not disappoint. Some of Australia's favourite designers showed today including Alice McCall, Bianca Spender, Zhivago and Sass & Bide. Read on to see a full wrap up of all the action on Day Two of Fashion Week Australia.

10:00am Alice McCall

The second official day and first full day of MBFWA opened with a dreamy runway show from Alice McCall. The resort collection was a throwback to 90's glam featuring feathers, prints and sparkles. But the collection was unmistakably Alice McCall with ruffles and playsuits galore.

11:00am Bianca Spender

Bianca Spender was next showing a mainly monochrome collection with dashes of pastel. Just like with Dion Lee, we saw power-suit inspire many of the pieces in this polished and wearable showcase.

12:00pm Thomas Puttick

The Thomas Puttick show focused on a neutral colour palette: light blush, black, grey & white with just a splash of prints. The collection felt accessible with lots of relaxed silhouettes, clean lines and layering. The show set itself apart through diversity, featuring models of all ages, ethnicities, shapes and heights.

3:00pm Karla Spetic

Karla Spetic debuted a perfectly sweet resort collection that celebrated candy colours. The girly and fun pieces featured ruffles, chiffon and feminine silhouettes.

4:00pm Double Rainbouu

Double Rainbouu showcased a collection with both mens and womens pieces. The retro-inspired resort collection paid homage to California-cool trends from yesteryear.

5:00pm Steven Khalil

The king of couture, Steven Khalil pulled out all the stops for his show. Of all the stunning pieces in the collection, the most jaw-dropping was an immensely detailed wedding gown covered in embroidery.

6:00pm Zhivago

Zhivago turned up the heat with this glamorous collection. The designs channelled 1980's high-fashion with velvets, shoulder pads, draping, cinched waists and sequins as far as the eye could see.

7:00pm Sass & Bide

It was the event everyone was waiting for and it didn't disappoint. The Fiesta Barcelona collection was Sass & Bide in top form. The brand's penchant for black, gold, white and patterned embellishments seemed stronger than ever. The large collection featured both showpieces along side the Sass & Bide bread-and-butter, denim jeans.
