Sadly, Fashion Week is winding down and today is the last day of runway shows. We kicked off the day with a fun show at Bondi Icebergs by Ten Pieces. Then it was back to Carriageworks for the 11:00am show, The Raffles International Showcase where we saw the next generation of fashion designers emerge. 10:00am Ten Pieces

Ten Pieces was first up today. The designer showed its sporty, street-wear collection at Bondi Icebergs.

11:00am Raffles International Showcase

The Raffles Internation Showcase featured seven designers from Raffles College of Design. This showcase presented the audience with whats next in the world of fashion with designs inspired by sustainability, hippy culture, Japanese gardens and more.



12:00pm Mariam Seddiq

Mariam Seddiq pulled out all the stop for this feminine but sporty resort collection. Her monochrome and ballet pink interpretation of cocktail dressing are sure to be sell out pieces.

1:00pm VMAJOR

This designer showed a wearable resort collection that featured neutral, functional pieces. As we've seen with many other collections, long draped sleeves made an appearance. VMAJOR also showed us some interesting distressed and weaved fabrics.




2:00pm Dyspnea

It was all aboard a boat for the Dyspnea show. The resort collection was filled with feminine whimsy, with sparkles, ruffles and chiffon.

5:00pm Akira

Akira's resort collection was clean and sporty and just a bit edgy. As we've seen in many of the collections this year, vertical stripes featured in many of the pieces.

6:00pm Strateas Carlucci

At 6:00pm Strateas Carlucci showcases a moody collection that was both functional and striking.




7:00pm Romance Was Born

Fantastical favourites, Romance Was Born had everyone seeing stars with their girly and whimsical collection. This show was the final one for Fashion Week 2017 and what a way to close!
