Melbourne and its surrounds offer unique dive sites for the intrepid diver. Within the city you can dive at Melbourne Aquarium but step further outside and you'll find options in Portsea, Geelong, Queenscliff, Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island.

While it might be convenient to stay in the city, these alternate locations offer incredible marine experiences and allow you to swim among the HMAS Canberra shipwreck, Port Phillip Heads, Lonsdale Wall and Mushroom Reef, Port Danger and Barwon Bluff Marine Sanctuaries.
