You’re going to want this Kim Kardashian approved fashion app
It's called Screenshop and it's a little bit like Shazam but for fashion.
Have you ever looked at a killer outfit on Instagram and wondered how you find it and buy it for yourself? Apparently this is a pretty common thing because a New York startup called Craze has just created the solution to your fashion problems.
The company has developed Screenshop, an app designed to help you recreate the killer looks you see on your favourite celebs and influencers. The app allows you to load screenshots or pictures of outfits and the app will then create a product feed of similar items so you can get the look for yourself.
And if you weren't convinced that this app is a winner, know that Kim Kardashian West herself has put her name behind it. Apparently, KKW worked with the Craze team for roughly a year to help develop and create the concept behind the app.
“I think this is going to be groundbreaking and so exciting for everyone,” Kim Kardashian West told Vogue.
In an interview with Buzzfeed News, Kim also said: "We spent well over a year getting this all together and ready to be what it is today, which is something I've never seen before."
"I’ve never seen an app where you can screenshot something and within seconds bring up a whole digital fashion store to be able to pick out from all range prices and sizes of similar things to what you're wearing."
The app uses artificial intelligence to identify key clothing items and accessories in any picture that is uploaded. It will then search through the database of 460 brands with 10 million products to find similar fashion pieces that you can then buy – all on your phone.
Some of the brands involved with the app include ASOS, Boohoo, Forever 21 and Saks Fifth Avenue, so there will be prices to accommodate all different budgets.
