Big savings on flight and hotel packages on sale until 31 August 2018.

From futuristic skyscrapers to humble fishing villages and the frenetic energy of the locals, a trip to Hong Kong can be hard to pass up but can sometimes seem too costly to consider once you factor in flights and hotels.

Cathay Pacific has you covered, though, with packages to appeal all types of travellers starting from as little as $808 per person.

Whether you want to get back to Hong Kong or tick it off your must-visit list for the first time, Cathay Pacific has partnered with over 25 hotels to bring you the best offers for your stay in Hong Kong.

The lowest price is for a 3-night stay at The Salisbury with return airfare from Melbourne starting from $808 per person. Located in the centre of the shopping and entertainment district of Tsim Sha Tsui with views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.

For comparison, flights alone are currently on sale from $649 per person departing Melbourne.

Packages are available from six Aussie cities with travel dates up to 31 March 2019. If you can, try to pick dates during the best time to visit Hong Kong, October to mid-December. You’re more likely to have sunny, clear weather with mild temperatures.

Rates are generally reasonable during autumn. It is also a great season for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring natural parks, beaches and adventure parks. After the New Year, tourism increases significantly despite the low temperatures, causing a surge in hotel prices and other services.

Packages start at $956 from Sydney, $978 from Perth, $1,033 from Adelaide, $1,074 from Cairns and $1,131 from Brisbane.

As an added bonus if you book between before 31 July you’ll get the option to add Ocean Park Hong Kong tickets to your package for just $10 per person. A huge saving, as these are usually $80 full price.

The Hong Kong package sale is available until 31 August unless sold out prior so make your way to the Cathay Pacific site to make your booking.
