Take your pick of stay and ski holidays for the best resorts in Japan.

It’s true, Australia has some pretty decent snow fields but they’re really nothing compared to the Japanese Alps. When you pair some of the softest powder in the world with a massive season, you’re onto a winner.

If you’re ready to experience it all for yourself, then Flight Centre has you covered with some hugely discounted ski packages for a limited time.

The best price we found is for the Ski Shiga Kogen package from $920. Save a whopping $526 for 7 nights accommodation at the 3.5 star Shiga Kogen Prince Hotel South Wing with breakfast daily, a 3-day Yakebitaiyama Area lift pass and 2-day Shiga Kogen all mountain pass.

All packages are for select dates between December and April which is the best time to ski in Japan.

If you’re keen to avoid the crowds then we suggest aiming for some of the later dates. The Stay and Ski Kiroro package includes dates in early April from $1,335 for 7 nights.

Our top pick? Niseko’s resort is not just one of our top ski resorts in Japan but it also made our list for the best ski resorts worldwide.

You can spend 7 nights in the Green Leaft Hotel with breakfast and a 6 day exclusive Ski Show lift pass from $1,719 or splurge a little and choose the Ski and Stay Niseko package from $1,889. Stay in a luxury 2 bedroom apartment at Youtei Tracks with a 5 day adult all mountain lift Ticket and return airport transfers.

Head to Flight Centre for a full list of packages available and get in quick as these are only available 31 July unless sold out prior.
